This includes ensuring adherence to budgetary costs and customer service standards and management of onsite personnel.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the fabric of the building both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.Assist with drafting, controlling and reporting of the service charge budget and expenditure for the site(s) in conjunction with the Building Manager, Senior Facilities Manager and surveyor as applicable.Carry out regular inspection audits of the site(s) and take/organise remedial action when required.Work with the Building Manager, key stakeholders and external clients to ensure a maintenance and repair programme is in place.Participate at regular tenant meetings in conjunction with the Building Manager and property and asset management colleagues. Ensure all issues are promptly dealt with in accordance with agreed service criteria.Ensure all health and safety audits are carried out in accordance with the planned programme and all follow‑up actions are completed within due timeframe. Monitor and update the H&S Management tool Meridian.Conduct fire and other evacuation drills regularly in accordance with health and safety requirements, ensuring the emergency plan and site maps are continually updated.Liaise with local authorities as appropriate.Manage major work programmes with the Building Manager and specialist consultants on‑site, acting as liaison for all parties involved.Assist the Building Manager in producing management reports as required by the business.Assist the Building Manager with compiling external contracts in conjunction with the Procurement Department, ensuring all procurement needs follow company policy.Oversee and regularly review contractor work to ensure required standards are achieved and maintained per contractual agreement.Perform any other duties as required by the business.Person Specification / RequirementsGood standard of education.Previous experience in a facilities environment in a supervisory or management role.Knowledge of the technical aspects of premises management.Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and environmental protection requirements, ideally IOSH qualified.IT literate with understanding and experience of industry‑specific IT applications.Ability to work on own initiative and within a pressurised environment with excellent organisational and planning skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
