Increasingly recognised for creating some of the world’s most sought-after properties, the Group provides legendary service inspired by Asian heritage whilst representing the very cutting-edge of luxury experiences.ResponsibilitiesAs a Floor Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, you will be responsible for:Supporting the Breakfast Manager and Assistant Manager during operations, ensuring a professional, friendly and stylish service is maintained by staff at all times.Encouraging and coaching the department, developing teamwork and working practices to deliver excellent standards.Conducting departmental induction for new starters.Demonstrating a full and complete knowledge of the products serviced in Breakfast, taking ownership and displaying leadership in the restaurant.Handling guest complaints, following through on actions to meet full guest satisfaction.As a Floor Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shifts begin at 5:30am (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.To be a successful Floor Manager candidate, you must have previous supervisory/management experience in a food and beverage setting.
