STS Engine Services is hiring an experienced Finance Manager in Stansted, United Kingdom. This is a hands on, full cycle accounting role with broad responsibility across reporting, analysis, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead financial operations in a fast paced aviation environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBalance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations and accrualsPosting journals related to reconciliationsPreparation of the monthly management accounts packPresentation of management accounts to the Senior Leadership TeamOversight of aged debt and debtor cashflowVAT returnsFull ownership of audit requests and statutory accounts requestsAssistance with P11D processingPayroll postingReview of budgets to actualsAccounts reviews and GL posting analysis including identification of mis postingsOwnership of budgeting and forecastingOwnership of day to day onsite finance requests from the Managing Director and leadership teamProject, customer, and sales stream profitability reviewing and reportingAbility to work independently and provide commercial recommendations to the leadership teamLine management of onsite finance support staffSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar all round Finance role is essentialAviation experience preferred but not requiredQualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCAStrong technical accounting knowledgePractice experience preferredExcellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressureDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage own workloadProficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skillsExperience with financial management software, ideally Sage Line 50Highly numerate with strong analytical abilitiesExperience working with multiple currenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work confidentially and with integrityFlexible and willing to assist wherever requiredProfessional presentation and conduct consistent with company standardsBenefits and CompensationSupport offered for final accounting qualification exams if requiredPMI included at GTPension at 5 percentOnsite required five days per week while allowing flexibility to four when neededAbout STS Engine ServicesSTS Engine Services, formerly GT Engine Services, is a leading provider of aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and storage solutions.
