OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the well established Gynae Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) service as a Band 6 Gynae Oncology CNS. This is a fixed term post for 23 months.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed individual to develop their knowledge and skill set and gain invaluable experience of working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will work alongside and have support and guidance from the Band 7 CNS Lead for the service. You will form an integral part of the wider multidisciplinary team in supporting gynaecological patients, and their families, diagnosed with cancer and throughout their cancer pathway.Candidates will need to have previous experience of working within the field of Oncology. Applications are welcome from those who have excellent communication skills, as well as being flexible and adaptable to the needs of the service.Secondment will be considered for internal candidates – If you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer.
