Job Title: Supply Cover SupervisorLocation: Hull, East YorkshireContract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Supply Basis) Start Date: ASAPSalary: £110–£150 per day (dependent on experience) We are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Hull on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education who want to gain hands‑on classroom experience across a range of subjects and year groups. As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set lesson plans, and maintain a positive learning environment that encourages engagement and good behaviour. Supervise pupils using pre-prepared lesson materials across various subjects. Manage classroom behaviour and promote a focused learning atmosphere. Support students with tasks and maintain engagement throughout lessons. Provide feedback to teaching staff on attendance, progress, and behaviour. Uphold school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times. Strong communication and leadership skills. The confidence to manage a classroom independently. A desire to support young people’s education. Previous experience in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential. A degree or background in any subject area is welcomed. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one). Competitive daily pay of £110–£150. Regular full-time work across a variety of Hull secondary schools.
