Reporting directly to the CFO, this position provides exposure to the Executive Team and Board, offering the opportunity to shape the Group’s tax strategy while supporting ongoing business growth.You will own the organisation’s tax functions, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong governance standards. Working collaboratively with finance colleagues and business unit managers, you will provide expert guidance on all tax matters and contribute to strategic decision-making at a senior level.Benefits£70,000 – £80,000 salaryPerformance based bonus (up to 25%)Health cash planHybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home)7% company pensionKey ResponsibilitiesManage preparation and submission of all corporation tax returnsOversee compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other relevant taxesLead tax reporting under applicable accounting standardsMonitor changes in legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assess business impactAct as the main point of contact for external tax advisorsEnsure transfer pricing compliance and maintain supporting documentationDevelop and maintain tax policies and proceduresConduct internal reviews and develop tax risk reporting frameworksPresent tax-related insights to the Board and senior leadershipCollaborate on overall tax strategy with senior managementCandidate Skills and ExperienceQualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years post-qualification experienceProven experience in tax management, ideally in industryStrong technical knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, and transfer pricingAnalytical problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex data and provide actionable insightsExperience influencing senior stakeholdersSelf-starter with strong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent communication skills, both concise and structuredHands‑on, results‑driven, and able to work collaborativelyApply below or get in touch withMarc Norton at Artemis Human Capitalfor full information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
