Ibstock Plc, Newcastle‑Under‑Lyme, England, United Kingdom Stockyard Forklift Driver – Ibstock Plc We are currently recruiting for a Yard FLT to join our Parkhouse factory in Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 7RZ. The successful applicant will be a member of a multi‑functional production/TPM team aiming to achieve key targets within the departmental environment, thereby helping to deliver Cost, Quality and Efficiency benefits to the Factory. Specific responsibilities include: Loading brick packs onto lorries using a 2‑pronged counterbalanced forklift truck Hand sorting of packs of bricks Operation of plant and machinery Working to SSOP’s with safe and precise working practices at all times General maintenance of equipment Packing The ability to learn quickly Being part of the local TPM team Housekeeping in your area of responsibility High degree of Health and Safety and environmental awareness Help with month end stock taking Essential Qualifications & Experience: Valid Counterbalanced forklift licence Reading and writing ability and able to understand production machinery Basic numeric skills Flexible and self‑motivated working attitude Good vision Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
