Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We're looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Newcastle from January 2026. This is your chance to start the year making a real difference in students' lives.

What You'll Do

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN (including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties).
Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience is a bonus).
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.Working for Prospero Teaching you can expect to receive the following: -
