About the role: The Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the Contracts Manager by ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of operational workstreams, while fostering a customer-focused and safety-first culture. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, investigating incidents, ensuring asset compliance, and maintaining high standards across all operations. Flexibility is required, including participation in the call-out rota and undertaking additional duties as needed. The ideal candidate will hold an ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management or equivalent experience, alongside IOSH Managing Safely certification and a valid driving licence. They should possess relevant qualifications or proven experience in their assigned workstream, with strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including asbestos awareness and CAT B removal. Demonstrated expertise in HR processes—such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and conflict resolution—is essential, as is experience in accident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate must be a confident leader with excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing teams, resources, and schedules effectively. Proficiency in digital tools and IT systems, adaptability to changing demands, and a customer-focused, safety-first mindset are key.
