Low Carbon Assets Advisor – Affinity Water Join to apply for the Low Carbon Assets Advisor role at Affinity Water. The role supports the company’s ambition to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the asset lifecycle. Base pay range The pay will be based on skills and experience. Affinity Water is pursuing an ambitious programme to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by applying industry best practice and innovative solutions. About the role The Low Carbon Asset Adviser will guide teams in the application of PAS 2080, identify low‑carbon opportunities, model whole‑life carbon impacts, and promote best practice in emissions reduction. Responsibilities Support Asset Management teams to estimate carbon associated with capital projects. Collect, analyse and report carbon assessment data. Champion low‑emission materials and techniques for capital delivery projects. Maintain our database of carbon models. Drive continuous improvement in emissions reporting quality. Provide administrative support to internal governance structures overseeing emissions reductions. Contribute to industry discussions through conferences, events and publications. Support delivery of internal education initiatives to build carbon literacy. Strengthen carbon maturity and reporting capability across the supply chain. Qualifications Degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of experience. Experience in data collation, validation and analysis. Proficient and influential communicator. Member or affiliate of an environmental management body desirable. Awareness of carbon assessment for assets or built environment desirable. Experience in an Asset Management environment desirable. Experience of climate change risk assessment, adaptation or similar desirable. What we offer Competitive salary based on skills and experience. Learning and development opportunities.
