**EQUANS are recruiting for a Technical Retrofit Advisor to be based in Hatfield covering areas across the M25, London and the South. This is a permanent role working full time hours. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.**

**This is an exciting opportunity to join our Energy and Innovation team, we are continuing to grow as a team so there are lots of things to get involved in.**

**We welcome different levels of experience in this role, either you are a fully qualified and experienced Retrofit Assessor, or you are keen to become an experienced Retrofit Assessor through a fast-paced training plan.**

**What will you deliver?**

The main purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of technical surveys and modelling work on domestic retrofit schemes. This role requires regular travel, primarily across the London and the South, and to our Hatfield office.
- Conduct a range of technical assessments independently on site (energy assessments, retrofit assessments, thermal imaging surveys, air tightness tests etc.)
- Model data in software to identify improvement recommendations for buildings
- Prepare technical reports to identify energy efficiency solutions for clients
- Analysis of housing stock data to identify opportunities for energy efficiency works

- Liaise effectively with Ops Teams and call centre in the delivery of work
- Keep up to date with required CPD hours for accreditation body satisfaction
- Assist with Retrofit Coordination on live schemes

**Who are we looking for?**

**Essential Attributes/skills**
- Desire to have a mostly practical / site-based role (driving to different sites 2-4 times a week)
- Willingness to travel to the Hatfield office as required (especially for training, meetings, and collaborative work)
- A pro-active approach to work
- Willingness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills to calculate dimensions (floor area, volume etc.) of buildings
- Literate in MS Office
- Full drivers’ licence
- Ability to work to strict deadlines

**Desirable Attributes/skills**
- Good understanding/keen interest in retrofit and low carbon solutions
- Ability to produce floor plans of complex buildings
- Ability to use software (SketchUp) to create 2D and 3D models of buildings
- Relevant Health & Safety Training
