Overview Length of contract Permanent contract Start date (dd Month Year) 7th September 2026 Description Job Title: Graduate Maritime Services Naval Architect Location Portsmouth Naval Base (Hampshire) We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week. Responsibilities Designing structural changes, including using FEA. Taking part in inclining experiments to assess the stability of ships. Contributing to stability analyses using specialist software. Contributing to the dry docking of ships. Helping inspect ships to understand their state of repair and come up with repair solutions. Qualifications Salary £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus Qualification requirements As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture/Ship Science/Maritime Engineering.
