Our teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross‑functional way to build the very best experience for customers. Where you come in You’ll work alongside the Portfolio Management team, acting as part of the decision‑making process and helping define, develop, and deliver underwriting strategy. You’ll bring an understanding of the market, identify new opportunity areas, wordings, and legal considerations, and leverage existing relationships for Ki. What you will be doing Work with Underwriting Directors, Portfolio Underwriters and Portfolio Management to continuously update underwriting strategies by class. Collaborate to focus on portfolio areas, review based on distribution partner and market feedback, optimise the commercial lens of the algorithm, and develop revenue strategy with input from the algorithms’ appetite. Requirements Previous experience across property underwriting in either the Lloyds or company market A strong commercial understanding of underwriting. Able to assimilate into strategic discussions around structuring and managing portfolios Track record of success in developing and executing commercially viable strategies, with high standards of delivery in a timely, cost‑effective way Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to drive revenue and business development opportunities across Ki’s distribution network Strong organisational credentials to help drive a dynamic team to deliver the revenue strategy coherently Benefits Highly competitive remuneration and benefits package, reviewed regularly.
