The successful applicant will be an integral member of the Clinical Imaging Management Team, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost effective delivery of the Trauma, Acute and General Radiography (TAG) x‑ray service across multiple sites. Main duties of the job To ensure professional and technical standards are always maintained, by regularly reviewing practice, in accordance with local and national policies and guidelines where appropriate. To work as part of a team providing flexible service delivery as required which includes providing a 7 day and out of hours TAG service. To be accountable for the TAG radiography service and manage the direct daily delivery of the service, effectively prioritising workload and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. To work directly with Team Leaders in all other modalities within Clinical Imaging to ensure the most effective use of staffing resources. Person Specification – Qualifications Essential BSc (Hons) Radiographer or DCR or equivalent Registered with HCPC or other Professional Body and evidence of CPD Desirable Leadership / management experience Person Specification – Experience Essential 5 years post‑qualification experience of working in the Imaging Department. Able to prioritise and manage own workload. Good organisational skills. Desirable Previous experience of team management and HR processes. Proactive in own learning and development.
