Salary Grade D (7-11) actual salary £17,366.42 per annum Job Title Premises Assistant Closing Date Wednesday 12th December at 12 noon Responsibilities Following the retirement of the postholder, we are seeking to appoint a Premises Assistant, who will play a crucial part in the smooth running of our school, ensuring our buildings and grounds provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will work alongside our Premises Manager in all aspects of site maintenance, and support in health and safety compliance. Qualifications Experience working in a school or similar premises A strong understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent organisational skills A proactive, practical approach to problem‑solving A flexible attitude with regard to working hours as some additional hours may be required at certain times of the year; these will be discussed and mutually agreed as and when the need arises. About the School Highfurlong School is a 2–19 Special School Academy in Blackpool with 145 pupils on roll, with a wide range of physical and medical needs and severe and complex learning difficulties. We are an Outstanding School, and we are keen to recruit a Premises Assistant who can uphold our high standards and expectations and support us in our journey to improve every day.
