Job summary Experienced CARE STAFF ONLY apply - PART TIME Hours 22 hours per week only We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on Ward D1. D1 is a 25 bedded ward which specialises in the care of patients who have gastroenterology conditions. We have a strong ethos to staff development and learning and have a wonderful consultant body and multidisciplinary team. The Ward is very busy so a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care is required. You must be able to provide high quality, compassionate care, ensuring an efficient service is delivered. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people. A caring nature, good communication skills & a willingness to learn & develop are essential. You will deliver fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene & toileting needs, feeding & mobility. To carry out ward clerical and IT tasks, as required. To carry out routine administrative/telephone related tasks. To communicate effectively when giving/receiving verbal and written information. Under the supervision of a registered nurse to assist with patient care activities. To maintain confidentiality of patient information. To carry out any tasks required to maintain the safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the ward area. To carry out duties as required, meeting all aspects of ward catering.
