OverviewJob Req ID : 3463 Date : May 18, 2024 Tradebe Site : Tradebe Warrington Location : Warrington, WRT, GBDepartment : FinanceBusiness Line : Environmental Services & Global FunctionsDescription : Job descriptionTradebe are looking for a Finance Business Partner to be based in Warrington with hybrid working.In this key strategic role you will lead the annual planning process, UK wide projects and partner within our successful Industrial division.The personBusiness Partner experience with relevant accountancy qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)Experience in dealing with manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, plant operations and managing multiple projectsDemonstrated ability to “get behind the numbers” and understand key drivers within a businessDemonstrated ability to identify business cases for new opportunities, and the ability to prepare planning models and / or implementation plans for those opportunities with senior management.Experience in implementation and use of financial dashboards / analysis tools including Power BI / SharepointAbility to represent finance with the business and the business with financeSAP knowledge / experience preferableAdvanced Excel userThe roleReporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, provide partnering support to Industrial division, with relevant insights into business performance specifically for the Treatment and Scotland sub-divisionsAlso provide business partner support to Central Overhead FunctionsSupport the team in effective financial planning and analysisProvide business expertise into accounting / financial control processesResponsible for financial scenario modelling for Industrial Strategic projects and providing suggestions and advice to the business based on financial analysis.Act as the strategic partner to the Treatment and Scotland management teams and form part of the leadership team providing analysis, insight and support to aid commercial and operational decision making, process improvement and delivery of the Industrial division strategic objectives.Responsibility for the UK forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning, setting financial targets and objectives for relevant sub-division(s).Conduct business performance analysis to identify, investigate and understand operational business unit results (e.g. margins, costs, profitability by client) and recommend improvement opportunitiesPrepare, challenge and explain accomplishment of budgets and forecasts in coordination with Treatment and Scotland leadership, and recommend and help implement actions to bring performance back to budget if performance deviatesPrepare CAPEX investment appraisals including rationale for the investment and calculation of expected financial returnDevelopment of improved margin understanding by customer within the UK Treatment and Scotland divisionsContinued ongoing development and delivery of BI reporting relevant to sub-divisionsDrive process improvements in working capital managementEnsure accuracy of period-end financial closings by providing business expertise into the financial control team and reviewing final outputWe offer£55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)Up to 15% bonusHealthcarePensionFlexible benefits including cash back options, discount vouchers, cycle to work scheme #J-18808-Ljbffr
