Biology teacher Location: Tonbridge Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities) Pay/rate: £130 - £200 per day (dependent on role) Start date: Flexible Your role At term time teachers we are looking for an experienced Biology teacher to teach and inspire pupils in an exceptional science department in Tonbridge. This is a great opportunity to inspire children and contribute to their academical progress within biology. Your responsibilities Plan and mark work timely, producing relevant feedback to the children to support their academic progress. Teach science through a variety of creative lessons and practical's. Create awe and wonder in line with the biology curriculum. Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching physics in UK secondary schools. Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
