We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Biology Teacher to join a sought after secondary school in the Newcastle area from January 2026. This is a full-time role with an initial contract until February half term. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both dual award and triple award elements of Biology. The Role Deliver engaging Biology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 KS5 Biology teaching is desirable but not essential Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum objectives Contribute to the wider school community and work collaboratively with colleagues The Ideal Candidate Will Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification Have experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus) Be passionate about Biology and committed to student progress in Science Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective communication skills Why Apply?
