Job Details Job Title: Software Developer Number of Available Positions: 1 Company: CloudNet Technologies Limited Salary (Depending on Experience): £34,000 to £38,000 per annum Location: Unit 8B, Redfern Industrial Estate, Hyde SK14 1RD, United Kingdom Note: Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the United Kingdom. However, applications from overseas candidates are also welcome. CloudNet Technologies Limited is currently seeking talented and versatile Software Developers to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a broad range of projects, including plugin development, database‑driven applications, mobile and web app development, and systems integration. You will play a vital part in building innovative digital solutions for clients across various sectors. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software solutions across web and mobile platforms. Build and maintain custom plugins, particularly for content management systems such as WordPress and WooCommerce. Develop and manage relational database systems, ensuring data integrity, optimisation, and performance (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front‑end developers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences. Participate in the development of mobile and web applications, using frameworks suited to the project (e.g., Laravel, React, Flutter). Write clean, secure, and maintainable PHP code for back‑end systems and CMS integrations. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues efficiently. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. Skills & Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in plugin and extension development for CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento). Good understanding of database design, optimisation, and management using MySQL or similar systems. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with mobile or cross‑platform app development is a strong advantage. Solid grasp of security best practices, performance tuning, and responsive design. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Knowledge of RESTful API development and third‑party API integrations. Exposure to DevOps tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
