Complex Dementia Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Complex Dementia Lead to join our team in Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of dementia care to take on a leadership role, guiding best practice and ensuring our residents living with complex dementia receive the highest quality of support.
A nursing qualification is not required for this role — we welcome applications from highly skilled Senior Carers, Dementia Specialists, or individuals with extensive experience working in dementia environments.
About the Role
The Complex Dementia Lead will play a key role in:

Developing and overseeing personalised dementia care plans
*
Supporting, coaching, and mentoring staff in dementia best practices
*
Leading on behaviour support strategies and person-centred approaches
*
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team to maintain outstanding dementia care standards
*
Promoting a positive, enriching environment for residents and their families
Essential Criteria
*
Strong experience working with individuals living with complex dementia
*
Proven leadership skills or the ability to guide and support a team
*
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, resident-focused approach
*
Ability to work proactively and use initiative in challenging situations
(Nursing qualification is not required.)
