We supply and support market leading sustainable machinery solutions that enhance productivity and support environmental stewardship.We’re looking for an enthusiastic Garden Machinery and Groundcare Service Manager to join our dynamic team.The RoleResponsible for delivering service support to customers with garden machinery and groundcare products you will be based within the Parts team. Managing a team of engineers to carry out PDI’s, Inspections, repairs, overhauls and work to company policies and procedures. Responsible to ensure Health and Safety is followed and implement within the department.Overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of garden machinery and groundcare equipment. Support and guide engineers to resolve faultsOrganising collection and delivery of units to the depot for repairs to keep work flowing to ensure high utilisation of engineers.Keeping customer updated, managing and dealing with expectations and queries.Work to KPI’sManage and process information using company IT systems and programmesProcess digital data from engineers to invoice.Supporting other relevant roles due to holiday and sickness.5+ years of experience in aftersales, preferably in Horticultural or Agricultural industry.Strong technical knowledge of garden machinery and groundcare industry-related equipment/products.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ideal ExperienceNVQ or related qualifications (preferred)What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience• 22 days holiday + bank holidays• Life insurance (3x basic salary)• 5% employer pension contribution• Staff discount• Training and development with leading brands• Supportive, employee-owned company cultureWorking Hours40-hour week: Monday–Friday• Saturday mornings on rotation: 7:30am–12:00pmDaily commuteTo live within daily commute of Chatteris.ApplicationWhether you’re an experienced Service Technician, Parts Advisor or looking to change your career to Groundcare, we’d love to hear from you.Join G & J Peck Ltd — where heritage meets innovation.
