Further details about the role We are seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to provide specific 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3 with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD), alongside delivering small group interventions for the wider class. The focus of this role is to help the pupil access the curriculum, manage their daily routine, and develop their independence, while also boosting attainment for other children through targeted academic groups. Key Responsibilities 1:0 Support: Support a Year 3 pupil with ASD in accessing learning. This includes managing transitions, implementing sensory breaks, and utilizing visual timetables to reduce anxiety. Academic Support: Deliver daily 1:1 and small group sessions in Phonics, Literacy, and Numeracy, following the teacher's planning. Social & Emotional: Support the pupil’s social interaction with peers during break times and group work, modeling positive play and communication. Interventions: Lead small intervention groups for other Year 3 pupils to close gaps in reading and maths. #J-18808-Ljbffr
