Senior Speech and Language Therapist Employer: Outcomes First Group – Upton Grange School, Berkshire, SL3 7LR. Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE (DOE). Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30‑16:30. Contract: Permanent. Responsibilities Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs. Apply the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice. Manage a full clinical caseload with support from a clinical supervisor and site lead. Contribute to staff training and consultation as required. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and maintain safeguarding culture. Support improved quality of life and educational outcomes for pupils. Essential Criteria Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy. HCPC registered. 1‑2 years experience as a fully registered RCSLT in a similar setting. Experience working with complex, diverse communication profiles. Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice. Experience in multidisciplinary settings and family communication. Interest in developing SaLT practice areas. Good relationship building, analytical and judgement skills. Strong communication skills (oral and written). Time management and organisational skills. Competent core SaLT practice, RCSLT Communication Standards awareness. Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention types, and support plan formulation. Understanding of legislation implications for practice and professional management. Collaborative team working ability. Willingness to attend training and pursue further relevant qualifications. Full valid driving licence with access to own vehicle. Desirable Understanding of sensory and motor variations affecting communication.
