Warehouse Operative Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £13.17-£14.28 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more We are recruiting warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops from our distribution centre in Monkspath – Solihull, West Midlands. This role is based in our frozen warehouse, working in temperatures of -18 degrees. PPE and regular warming breaks are given. We offer a permanent full‑time position and a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. Part‑time work may also be available. Shift patterns Day shift – From 10:00 to 18:00 Late shift – From 14:00 to 22:00 Pay, working hours & benefits We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.17 per hour for day shifts (£10.48 if you are under 21) and £14.28 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£11.88 if you are under 21). You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full‑time positions and if you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available. You will need: To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons) To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application We welcome applications from Army, Navy and Royal Air Force service leavers and veterans into our distribution operations and work in partnership with Hire a Hero to support service leavers with their transition into civilian life.
