Job Overview We are seeking a stable and rewarding Facilities Assistant to work at Leicester Partnership NHS Trust. The role offers a supportive environment, strong work‑life balance through flexibility, and a 2‑week rota of 21 hours per week between 7am and 1.30pm, including alternate weekends. As a Facilities Assistant you will provide an effective, patient‑focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of portering, cleaning and catering. The role will rotate between responsibilities across our Trust sites to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective service to all patients, staff, and visitors. Contact Facilities Co‑ordinator or Supervisor: 01509 564227 Job Description Summary (Main Duties and Responsibilities) Preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis. Provision of patient‑focused cleaning and domestic service, including washing linen, to meet NHS cleanliness standards in designated patient and non‑patient areas. Provision of porting services, including transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts, and patient moves within the hospital environment. This role will require the individual to rotate between the above responsibilities as required. Benefits Competitive salary with payments for unsocial hours, Saturday and Sunday enhanced pay.
