There is an on‑call component on a 1:14 rota for nights and weekends which varies between the trauma and elective roles.About usWe support the Making Every Contact Count approach to behaviour change in the promotion of health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.The Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough and Friarage Hospital Northallerton provides both planned elective and unplanned trauma and reconstruction surgery for a large mixed rural and industrial catchment in the North of England. The two hospital sites enable this breadth of practice, allowing for a concurrent focus on elective and emergency care.
