We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Senior Fire Engineer /Principal Fire Engineer to join our Building & Real Estate Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We’re looking for a proactive, flexible and reliable Senior Fire Engineer /Principal Fire Engineer to join our Ireland office, with experience in a similar role and who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. Working across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider Team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a Team, as well as independently.ResponsibilitiesDevelop design and construction fire safety strategiesPrepare fire safety assessment for external wallsPrepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, etc.Carry out site visits when requiredProvide fire safety adviceWrite fee proposal lettersLiaise with client on a regular basisQualificationsA bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil, or a similar field)Involvement and recognition with a professional bodyProven background in fire safety and a good understanding of fire engineered solutionsAt least two years’ experience in fire safety engineeringPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbout Fire EngineeringOur Fire Engineering Team focus on providing an award-winning, flexible and forward-thinking approach, as well as a high level of technical capability.
