Senior Commercial Strategy Manager - ESN Join to apply for the Senior Commercial Strategy Manager - ESN role at BT Group. Why this job matters As a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager, you’ll lead the commercial strategy and deal architecture for the ESN portfolio, shaping commercial outcomes on high-value negotiations and strategic initiatives. This role operates as a senior SME across complex commercial contracts and bids, ensuring BT Group value, risk balance and regulatory compliance. Location(s) Bristol or London You will be required to undergo National Security Vetting to SC or NPPV level. What You’ll Be Doing Own the commercial P&L view for strategic initiatives; drive translation into customer and contract schedules. Identify and manage commercial, regulatory and political risks; ensure alignment with BT Group risk policy. Engage senior BT executives, customer leadership, advisors and external stakeholders to secure approvals. What We Would Like To See On Your CV Extensive experience leading complex large commercial negotiations. Experience of working with the Public Sector – extensive knowledge of Public Procurement regulations and policies. Strong financial modelling, P&L ownership, sensitivity/scenario analysis. Understanding of public procurement policies and mobile network technology. Self‑starter – able to originate, shape and land proposals at pace. Proven project planning and cross‑functional leadership in regulated environments.
