On behalf of a hospital near Manchester, I’m seeking an experienced Infectious Diseases Locum Consultant available for an initial 3-month period with potential extension. Position Details This is a clinically focused role with significant ward round responsibilities, especially in Critical Care areas. The locum will work alongside consultant colleagues to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective clinical microbiology, virology, and infection prevention and control service to UHP and other service users. On-call duties are negotiable and to be confirmed Great location with local accommodation options if needed Accessible by public transport and car Less than 1 hour from an international airport Requirements GMC registration; entry on the specialist register is advantageous but not mandatory Minimum of 1 year NHS experience at Consultant level, capable of working independently Must be onsite Negotiable pay terms.
