Visit Health and Care Worker visa: Overview - GOV.UK This role is working Monday - Friday shifts between 8am & 6pm including some weekend & bank holidays An exciting opportunity has arisen in Clatterbridge Cancer Centre at the Wirral site for a motivated and proactive individual to become part of a busy and friendly appointment team. The role can often be varied and complex but with a high level of job satisfaction. The role requires the candidate to be a good team player as the successful candidate will be joining a large administration and clerical group with good peer group support. The role will also offer the candidate opportunities to learn new skills within Network Services Division and variety in their day to day activities. The post holder will also be responsible for appointing radiology slots across many services for extremely busy departments. This will include a full appointment booking system and ensuring patients are communicated with in a timely manner. Excellent administration skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft applications and experience of working with patient records and using multiple hospital databases and software is advantageous. Main duties of the job To make appointments within the Radiology Administration Team for patients across the region. Experience of booking multiple series of appointments as per protocols To participate in administrative and clerical duties To maintain confidentiality at all times To have a knowledge of a range of procedures and appointments across multiple services To communicate with patients around their appointments liaising with Clinicians regarding complex cases - via telephone, text service & email Requires multitasking Using multiple applications Supporting other teams/areas within the Hub Reception cover The post holder will participate in the appointing of Complex appointments across hubs and be expected to undertake additional clerical duties pertaining to specific areas. The post holder will also be expected to liaise with the clinical Teams within the departments. Qualifications GCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent. Knowledge & expertise Knowledge of a range of administration systems Experience in an office environment Experience Front of house experience in a customer service area. Experience in a NHS environment.
