Commissioning Engineer Varied locations across Affinity Water regions (London) Are you passionate about bringing complex engineering projects to life? We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality MEICA and commissioning solutions for water industry projects. As our Commissioning Engineer, you'll be at the heart of project delivery, ensuring systems and processes are integrated seamlessly and operate to the highest standard. What you will be doing : Leading the commissioning delivery for assigned projects, from outline design through to project takeover. Developing and implementing Commissioning Plans, Strategies, and documentation that meet project scope and timelines. Managing interfaces with existing assets and working closely with the Client Asset Operations Team for smooth integration. Overseeing MEICA installation to ensure compliance with technical requirements, client specifications, and industry standards (including WIMES). Coordinating and supervising testing and commissioning activities, including FAT, SAT, dry and wet commissioning. Engaging with specialist teams (DSEAR, Technical Authors, Document Controllers) to ensure clarity on deliverables and timescales. Supporting training plans and ensuring operational readiness for project handover. Maintaining rigorous safety standards and adherence to Galliford Try processes throughout all activities. About you : Proven experience in MEICA and commissioning delivery within the water industry. Strong site management skills and ability to resolve issues promptly. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment used in water treatment processes. A structured approach to commissioning plant, equipment, and processes. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation. Ideally, qualifications or experience to act as an LV Electrical Authorised Person (EAP) under Electrical Safety Rules. Essential Qualifications and Certifications : CSCS / ECS Card in appropriate discipline BS7671 (18th Edition) Full UK driving licence SSSTS Desirable Qualifications and Certifications : If you do not currently hold the following qualifications or certifications, we can provide support to help you achieve them.
