Project Coordinator – 6-Month Contract

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Type: Fixed-term (6 months)

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Start Date: ASAP

Are you an organised and proactive individual with a knack for keeping projects on track? We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month contract and help ensure the smooth delivery of key initiatives.

About the Role

As Project Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting project delivery from start to finish. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and internal teams to coordinate activities, maintain documentation, and ensure deadlines are met. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple functions — from scheduling and data management to procurement and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update project schedules, spreadsheets, and asset tracking records.

* Coordinate communication between sites, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely sign-off of documentation, vehicle hire, and compliance with customer requirements and SLAs.

* Update systems when master data requirements change, including job creation, closure, and inspection templates.

* Generate management information reports from the service management system, covering stock usage, engineer utilisation, and project performance.

* Create and process purchase orders and web shop orders, supporting warehouse operations in improving documentation and streamlining processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

* Liaise with external carriers to manage the movement of goods within the UK and internationally.

* Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments, maintaining and updating process maps as required.

* Ensure accuracy and consistency across all system transactions and stock movements, including goods in/out and cycle counts.

* Investigate and report on discrepancies, recommending process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

* Provide support and cover for colleagues where needed to ensure continuity of operations.

About You

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

* Confident working with data, systems, and reporting tools.

* Experience using service management or ERP systems is advantageous.

* Previous experience in project coordination, logistics, or operational support preferred.

Why Join Us

* Competitive salary.

* Be part of a collaborative, supportive team delivering meaningful projects.

* Gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions.

* Flexible / hybrid working options available.
