OverviewSenior Analyst role at PSL Group. This position is part of FirstWord Reports and FirstWord Therapy Trends, delivering insight and analysis on pharmaceutical trends for our clients.FirstWord Reports and Therapy Trends provide critical intelligence to support clients in the pharmaceutical industry. The Senior Analyst role is central to developing and delivering market-leading insights and reporting, with opportunities to lead core disease-analysis areas over time.What you will doOwn research projects end-to-end: identify and prioritise subjects, conduct research, analysis, writing, compilation and release of reports and services; support the development and communication of core product and service value propositions.Event-driven analysis: provide timely, accurate analysis when major news or data breaks.Meet demanding targets: hit research and publishing goals for timing, quality, value and cost.Build expert networks: recruit, develop and manage a pool of world-renowned KOLs who provide original market insights.Qualitative KOL research: conduct semi-structured interviews to map current and future treatment algorithms and market segments.Exploit information networks: use internal and external information and expert networks to develop unique, market-leading intelligence services.Collaborate across the group: work with group companies, business units, teams and colleagues to advance FirstWord Reports’ products and services.Client feedback loops: capture and act on client feedback to refine topics, angles and formats for continuous improvement.Original thinking: bring fresh topics and perspectives that differentiate Therapy Trends and deliver market-leading value.Maintain high standards: ensure meticulous attention to detail and pride in work.Communication: deliver research outcomes in a clear, concise and compelling style.Who you areMasters, PhD or First-Class degree in life sciences preferred, or equivalent experience as an analyst of therapy-area markets and their future potential.Highly motivated with a strong desire to reach and exceed targets and drive performance.Strong work ethic with a deep interest in the pharmaceutical industry and its role in developing diagnoses and treatments of major medical conditions.Meticulous attention to detail and pride in your work.Excellent written, verbal, numerical and analytical skills.Qualitative and thematic methods: knowledge of established and new qualitative research methodologies.GenAI proficiency: using approved tools for desk research, data extraction, analysis, outlining, drafting, summarisation and editing.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.Resourceful and self-sufficient; able to take initiative; comfortable working alone or in a team.Based in the UK or Western Europe.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesTechnology, Information and MediaReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at PSL Group.
