Overview The Sales Coordinator is a key support role within Montcalm Collection’s commercial team, driving revenue growth through efficient sales administration and exceptional client service. Working closely with the Sales Manager, this role supports lead generation, market research, and the coordination of sales and marketing activities. Highly organised and commercially minded, the Sales Coordinator ensures accurate reporting, seamless communication across departments, and professional client interactions. With a proactive and detail-oriented approach, this role upholds Montcalm Collection standards of excellence while contributing to the achievement of business objectives and revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Carry out market research and identify potential new accounts and leads through local street walks, competitor reader boards, local publications and networking events. Communicate and discuss all potential leads with the Sales Manager to establish how they are managed. Support the sales team in attending and assisting with in-house marketing activities, familiarisation trips, client hospitality evenings, presentations, show rounds and promotional activities as required by the needs of the business. Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly administration is completed accurately and within the required timescales. Fully understand rate negotiation, account development and management, rate agreements and rate loading. Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Manager, to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and leads. Achieve set KPI’s. Fully understand the hotel’s budget. Competitor SWOT analysis and weekly visits completed. Support the Sales Manager as and when required. Support the Sales team in achieving the monthly budget through the professional and efficient management of sales queries. Liaise closely with all departments, ensuring they are up to date with all company/client information & rates. Assist in the development of sales products. Attend internal Sales Meetings and take minutes and action points as required. Develop and maintain competitor hotel information. Organisation and distribution of mail shots and monthly newsletters. Make sure databases are updated by the agreed standards. Creating/designing marketing material. Fully understand the hotel amenities, packages and promotions. Updating and maintaining our hotel website. Support the sales team in conducting show rounds of the hotel facilities. Office organisation, including ordering stationary, business cards, give aways etc. Complete training as deemed necessary by the Sales Manager. Undergo regular audits of emails, sales systems, databases, online filing and manual files. Skills & Qualification Excellent communication skills Good level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets Excellent organisational and administration skills Proven track record of achieving KPI’s Excellent grooming standards Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service Positive attitudeAbility to work well under time pressure A passion for sales Working Condition The role is based in the company’s London office. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5.30 pm, during live events and build-up hours may vary. Out-of-hours work at events may be required. Benefits Competitive salary.
