This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on both prime (customer-facing) and subcontract requirements, supporting contract execution and close-out. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals in a central governance team, helping shape commercial strategies that make a real difference to national security and operational success.Day-to-day, you’ll provide vital commercial expertise to ensure the successful delivery of complex defence projects.Manage contracts small contracts with the support from the wider commercial team.Provide commercial support and advice to project teams throughout contract lifecycleAct as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersRespond promptly to queries and ensure accurate reportingOther Commercial administrative tasksThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the office / onsite and 1 day working from home.Essential experienceKnowledge of general contracting principlesFamiliarity with SAP, Coupa, and Microsoft Office applicationsLogical and organised approach to workAbility to manage multiple priorities effectivelyQualificationsHNC level, preferably in Engineering or Business StudiesLegal, CIPS, or WCC qualification (advantageous)Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
