We are expanding and are looking for a BI Developer to join the team and be part of a growing and vibrant brand.Why you’ll love working hereEnjoy work‑life balance with our flexible working scheme – including 15 work‑from‑home days a year, duvet days and the choice to flex your working hoursVibrant state‑of‑the‑art office, conveniently located in Trafford Park with great transport links and free onsite parkingNo need to travel to the gym – we have one here for you Take advantage of our free onsite gym facilities before/after work or even pop in at lunch timeGenerous staff discounts on a wide range of fabulous fragranceExcellent progression and development opportunities – work with teams who are passionate about what they do and develop your expertise within a creative and collaborative spaceThe roleAn integral role, the BI Developer is responsible for producing high quality reports and analysis across the organisation to enable data‑driven decision making and support strategic planning by Per‑Scent leadership team.What you’ll be doingDesign, build and automate business reports and dashboards.Provide well‑presented, accurate and timely management information.Extract, interrogate and analyse data to support business decision making.Present and communicate analysis to internal stakeholders as and when required.Review & challenge existing internal reporting to drive increased efficiencies.Establish and conduct regular business review meetings to analyse and determine BI requirements and develop solutions that add value.Build robust and efficient data sources for use in reports and dashboards.Standardise cross‑departmental data definitions, KPIs, and calculations and ensure ongoing conformance to published standards.Policing of key data within business systems.Audits of the quality of recorded data across the business to help support various data teams.Continually seek to improve existing reporting processes, frequency, and distribution methods by incorporating automation techniques, initiatives, and technology trends.Ensure the integrity and 100% accuracy of all reports distributed.Manage the development and UAT phases of all new reports and report enhancements.What you’ll bring: Required experience and skills2+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a wholesale or retail environment.Ideally educated to degree level, within an IT/Mathematical field.Proven experience working with Power BI.Highly proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel).Proven experience delivering presentations, visualisations/dashboards and analytics to a broad audience (technical, non‑technical, executive).Experience/knowledge using ERP systems.Self‑motivated and dynamic with the ability to consistently work towards tight deadlines and prioritise effectively in accordance with business needs.High level of attention to detail.Strong customer focus and commercial acumen.DesiredExperience of Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central.Experience of MS SQL.Personal Qualities & SkillsHighly analytical approach.Exemplary interperson and communication skills.Organised & self‑sufficient.Logical, methodical approach to problem and issue solving.Collaborative.A professional attitude and approach to all work‑related tasks.Excellent problem solver.Good organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise workload.Desire to learn new techniques and skills.Ability to work within a team.Strong work ethic.Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders from department managers, Directors and the CEO.How to applySimply upload your CV via our careers page.
