We are on an exciting growth journey to become the UK’s most loved retirement expert.PurposeWe’re looking for a Senior QA Lead to join one of our multidisciplinary, cross-functional, lean delivery squads, focused on rapidly delivering value to our customers through our mobile app and website.This role is critical to the success of the whole team. You will be responsible not just for testing but for driving quality across the whole squad, from planning through execution and release.Whilst all our teams believe firmly in the importance of incorporating testing into everything they do, and of having a clear and comprehensive testing plan, you will bring your expertise to continue to develop their skills and approach, and to continuously improve the QA process and approach.You are passionate about delivering quality software and can lean on your rounded skill set to enhance the Product, Agile software delivery and Technology capabilities of the team. You will enjoy seeking out innovative solutions to complex problems, embracing new tools and techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesLooking at quality holistically and throughout the software development processPromoting lean approach to QA and focus on delivering maximum value with minimal effortAdopting a risk-based approach to quality assuranceSupporting a continuous delivery approachAdvocating for simplicity in testing, approach, ways of working and tool choiceCollaborating with the Tech Lead on lean testing and release strategy balancing risk and speed of deliveryAssisting the team with support process and incident managementPairing with other team members and encourage a focus on quality and observability in the teamWorking closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Lead on prioritizing product features and uncovering edge casesManaging the issue backlog and facilitating bug triage based on risk and impactYour ExperienceProficiency in exploratory testing in a full-stack digital product and identifying good candidates for automationExperience formulating a testing strategy comprising exploratory and automated testingA demonstrable track record of improving QA process, testing often, early and in line with Lean principlesExperience in collaborating with Product-oriented peers on user-focussed solutionsExtensive experience operating within an Agile environmentExperience managing the release process for a product or suite of productsChampion user-focused QA, such as accessibility testingExperience using monitoring and log management tools to identify issues in a live systemExperience with production incident management and post mortemsNon-functional experience including basic security, performance testingAutomated end-to-end and API testing tools and techniquesCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesWhy Just?At Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
