Many of our Supply Lecturers go on to secure further roles within the Group.As a Supply Lecturer, you will:Teach, train and assess learners in Music, Media or Art, sharing your specialist skillsCreate engaging, high-quality learning experiencesSupport and motivate students to achieve their full potentialContribute to a positive, creative and inclusive learning environmentIf you’re passionate about your subject and keen to help students grow, this could be the perfect next step in your educational career.Please note that our Supply Lecturers are paid £18.72 per hour worked and if planning and admin is required, a further half an hour may be claimed per hour of teaching. £140 per day is therefore for rate for 5 hours teaching with 2.5 hours of planning and admin.Any addition to the approved staffing list is not a guarantee of employment or hours of work. Once you have been interviewed and all pre-employment checks are complete, you will then be placed within the supply pool of staff available for temporary work. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be assessing and tracking student progress to plan effective interventions and ensure every learner develops the skills they need to succeed.You’ll be able to teach a range of study programmes and courses from Level 1 to Level 3, motivating learners to achieve and reach their full potential.You will have experience teaching in one or more of the following areas:MusicMediaArtWe will consider all applications against the job specification within the job description.
