Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen within a nationally recognised and UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. They are currently recruiting for a commercially-minded and tenacious Asbestos Project Manager based in the Norwich area. Applications from Fakenham, Dereham, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Will hold the P402 certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Previous experience of working in an asbestos project management role. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent with Microsoft Office package. A good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety legislation/procedures. Responsibilities Managing a wide range of asbestos projects covering a large portfolio of clients. Producing estimates and quotations for potential contracts and completing risk assessments. Undertake audits and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures. Produce comprehensive management reports. Supervising Site Analysts and Surveyors carrying out work on various projects. Writing tender specifications, accompanying contractors to site and evaluating tenders submitted. Getting involved with quality control and reporting. Visiting sites and auditing. Maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
