PRU Learning Mentor – Gateshead Start: JanuaryContract: Full time, possibility of permanent We’re partnering with a PRU-style school in Gateshead looking for a Learning Mentor to support a small cohort of KS3 pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. No two days are the same here, but the impact you’ll make is huge. If you enjoy getting to know pupils, building trust and helping them find their spark again, this setting is perfect. Your role will include: Mentoring pupils 1:1 Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour plans Delivering small interventions around confidence, resilience and engagement Helping pupils transition back into the classroom You’ll bring: Experience working with young people with SEMH or in PRU/alternative settings A positive, patient attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
