PRU Learning Mentor – Gateshead Start: January Contract: Full time, possibility of permanentWe’re partnering with a PRU-style school in Gateshead looking for a Learning Mentor to support a small cohort of KS3 pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. No two days are the same here, but the impact you’ll make is huge.If you enjoy getting to know pupils, building trust and helping them find their spark again, this setting is perfect.Your role will include: • Mentoring pupils 1:1 • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour plans • Delivering small interventions around confidence, resilience and engagement • Helping pupils transition back into the classroomYou’ll bring: • Experience working with young people with SEMH or in PRU/alternative settings • A positive, patient attitude • Strong communication and relationship-building skillsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
