Apprentice Refrigeration Equipment Engineer – Hounslow – MCFT Overview Join MCFT’s City & Guilds Approved Apprenticeship Programme as a Refrigeration Technician. The 2‑year paid training starts at the National Living Wage of £16.50 per hour, rising after successful completion. Typical Day Preventive maintenance, callouts and repairs on a wide variety of commercial kitchen equipment. Own allocated sites upon completion of the trainee programme to build relationships with customers. Build a portfolio to evidence competence across the training programme, with a structured learning approach. Every day is a different location and customer – from schools and colleges to sporting venues. What’s the Journey Three months at the brand‑new technical academy, then field learning alongside experienced technicians, with periodic returns to academy for classroom learning.
