Invest in us and we’ll invest in you.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic AI Policy Lead with proven AI governance expertise and a strong foundation in either Service Design, Product Management, or Business Analysis to drive the global operationalisation of our client's newly released AI Policy. This is a unique hybrid role that combines deep AI policy knowledge with practical delivery capabilities across digital transformation projects.The RoleThis position is primarily focused on delivering AI governance transformation for a major client, requiring someone who understands AI ethics, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. You'll lead the definition and execution of AI policy implementation while leveraging your service design, product management, or business analysis background to ensure practical, user-centred delivery.The Ideal Candidate ProfileWe're looking for AI policy professionals with complementary delivery skills from one of these backgrounds:AI Policy specialists with Service Design experience - systems thinking, stakeholder facilitation, and the ability to map current/future states to operationalise complex AI frameworks across global teamsAI Policy specialists with Product Management background - experience in transformation programmes, managing complex backlogs, and cross-functional team leadership to drive policy implementationAI Policy specialists with Business Analysis experience - analytical skills, process mapping, and stakeholder management to translate AI policy into practical operational frameworksWhy This CombinationAI policy implementation requires both technical policy knowledge and practical delivery expertise. You’ll need to understand emerging AI regulations while being able to design services, manage complex programmes, or analyse business processes to make AI policy work in practice. Join our growing Digital, Data and Cloud practice to lead a transformational AI governance programme for one of our major clients.QualificationsAI Policy & Governance (Primary Focus - 70%)Design and lead a global programme to operationalise the client's AI Policy, translating principles into processes, guidance, assurance tools, and communicationsEstablish programme governance structures, ways of working, and delivery plans across internal and external contributorsDevelop a scalable library of policy guidance, practical tools, templates, and training content to support compliant and ethical AI useOversee creation of AI use case inventory and risk assessment frameworks, tailored to identify and manage high-risk AI applicationsBuild and lead a global AI community of practice to share learning and champion responsible AI adoptionCollaborate with legal, data, and regulatory teams to embed up-to-date AI regulations and compliance requirementsMonitor, report, and mitigate high-priority risks arising from AI use, delivering regular stakeholder updatesService Design/Product Management/Business Analysis (Supporting - 30%)Apply your SD/PM/BA expertise to ensure AI policy frameworks are user-centered and practically deliverableFacilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions using your delivery discipline backgroundDesign service blueprints, user journeys, or process maps to support AI governance implementationSupport broader client delivery work using your core discipline expertise when not focused on AI policyEssential RequirementsStrong AI governance background - proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or AI policy implementationUnderstanding of AI regulations - familiarity with frameworks like ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles, EU AI ActDelivery discipline expertise - substantial experience in Service Design, Product Management, or Business AnalysisTransformation programme experience - track record designing and leading complex change programmesSenior stakeholder management - ability to influence and engage executive-level decision makersCommunication excellence - can translate complex AI concepts into practical guidance for diverse audiencesDesirable RequirementsExperience operationalising AI policies or ethics frameworks in large organisationsFamiliarity with AI development lifecycles, particularly generative AI applicationsPublic sector or highly regulated industry experienceProfessional certifications in AI ethics, data governance, or your delivery disciplineExperience with agile delivery methodologies and multidisciplinary team workingWhat We OfferThis role provides the opportunity to shape cutting-edge AI governance while developing your T-shaped skills across our digital delivery capabilities.
