We’re looking for a Regional Liaison Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in connecting Wastewater Treatment Operations with Capital Delivery.Key PurposeAs a Regional Liaison Engineer, you’ll act as the operational voice throughout the lifecycle of complex, high-value wastewater treatment projects. You’ll ensure that designs are practical, resilient, and aligned with our strategic goals, supporting seamless integration into live operations and long-term asset performance.What You’ll Be DoingChampion operational requirements from concept design through to commissioning and handover.Review and influence engineering designs to ensure they are operable, maintainable, and cost-effective.Provide expert input during detailed design and commissioning phases.Ensure safety-critical processes such as Safe Control of Operations (SCO) are planned and compliant.Collaborate with site teams to support mobilisation, construction, and commissioning activities.Facilitate smooth project handovers, ensuring operational teams are fully prepared and confident.What We’re Looking ForStrong technical understanding of wastewater treatment processes.Proven experience in operational or project delivery roles within the water industry.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to interpret technical documentation and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Practical experience with commissioning and operational handover.Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. Or equivalent experience.Chartered Engineer status or working towards accreditation (desirable).Additional RequirementsMust be able to hit the ground running, with a strategic mindset and a personable, adaptable approach.A full UK driving license is essential, as regular travel to operational sites is required.Participation in a call-out rota may be required.Join us in shaping the future of wastewater treatment, where engineering meets purpose.PackageThis role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
