Partnering with the respective function leads, the role will drive our people processes and strategy, organizational design, talent management and succession planning. This role is integral to our European Operations leadership team, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives in a fast-paced environment to foster a high-performance cultureThis is a full-time permanent role within a hybrid working environment.What you will doProvide “eye-level” HR Business Partnering to our Data Center Operations community in EuropeUnderstand business goals, initiate new approaches and processes to effect continuous improvement to support business objectives, and organizational design/effectivenessTake ownership of HR/ER cases and other areas where HR expertise is required to help to navigate through change and growth situationGuide managers on the right tools and access to advice needed for effective management of the performance of their peopleAdvise on people development within existing and new policies and proceduresAlign between business and HR on compensation and BenchmarkingBe available as a source of advice for managers to assist with employee challenges or concernsSupport creating and maintaining a culture of excellence, togetherness along the NTT values which is clearly visible through the outputs of the teamClosely collaborate across the HR functions to establish customized and practicable solutionsInteract with works council and/or other representation bodiesWhat we are looking forProven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a multinational/European Tech or IT environmentStrong understanding of organizational design, talent management, and succession planningStrategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and commercially astuteMust understand Operations and Construction functionsExposure to 24/7 shift patterns and 3rd party workforce desirableStrong analytical and conceptual mindsetFluent in English and German (verbal and written)Experience in collaborating with worker representation/work council bodies in DACH regionWillingness to travel, ca 20 - 25%Highly client and service oriented and team orientedWhat we offer youAn agile company culture with short decision-making paths and plenty of opportunities to show personal initiativeFlexible working time models and mobile working (depending on your role)Allowance for the use of public transport and job bikesAllowance for the use of health and wellnessIndividual training and development opportunitiesNumerous other additional benefits such as birthday vouchers, employee advisory program, employee referral scheme, lunch allowance, company events, etc.We look forward to hearing from youAbout the Global Data Centers division of NTT DATANTT Global Data Centers is ranked as one of the top three leaders worldwide by IDC in their Colocation and Interconnection Services MarketScape, spanning more than 20 countries and regions including North America, Europe, Africa, India and APAC.As a neutral operator, we offer access to multiple cloud providers, a large variety of Internet Exchanges and telecommunication network providers including our own IPv6 compliant, tier 1 global IP network.
