OverviewLet's Play are looking for an individual to lead a variety of fun-filled activities and supervise the children at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Watford Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford. This will include keeping the children safe, leading activities and ensuring the programme is delivered to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability aged between 5 and 12 years.The daily programme will include activities from our schedule designed to have a positive impact on young children. Sessions may include Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building and Arts n Crafts.Let\'s Play are a childcare provider based in the South East of England, Bristol, Sheffield and The Midlands, committed to delivering Fun, Inclusive & Educational experiences for children in our care.ResponsibilitiesManage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard.Liaise with parents/carers, staffing team and the Directors regularly.Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic and enjoyable for primary-aged children.Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.Follow our coaching philosophy: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.Understand the individual needs of staff and children and engage them appropriately.Deal with any first aid or emergency situations.Be approachable in liaising with parents/carers.Commit to delivering every session to the best of your ability.Be creative and passionate in your delivery.Essential RequirementsHas a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.Experience working at children’s holiday camps or in a childcare setting.Demonstrates willingness to develop skills and practice.Punctual, reliable & committed.Experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.Strong communication & organisational skills.Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers and children.Preferred RequirementsClean UK driver’s license.Experience or willingness to deliver other activities during Fun Week (e.g., Arts and Crafts, Multi-Sports).Completed relevant courses at Sixth Form, College or University.Duties & Responsibilities for This RoleManage and motivate your team to ensure high-standard delivery of the programme.Liaise with parents/carers, staff team and Directors regularly.Ensure sessions are engaging, realistic and fun for primary-aged children.Create a positive learning environment for children in our care.Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.Follow our coaching philosophy: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.Understand and support the individual needs of staff and children.Handle first aid or emergency situations when they arise.Communicate effectively with parents/carers.Commit to delivering every session to the best of your ability.Be creative and passionate in your delivery.You Will Be Provided WithProfessional sports kit.Opportunities for progression and additional work opportunities.Further qualifications.How to ApplyTo apply, please send a copy of your CV to letmeplay@play-sport.co.uk with the subject line “Holiday Club Play Leader”.About Let Me PlayLet\'s Play are an Ofsted registered childcare provider delivering holiday camps to children aged 5-12.
