Role Overview: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of their new residential development. You'll work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of this project.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
Collaborate with the project team, including engineers, architects, and surveyors, to achieve project goals.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
Support the Site Manager in managing resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.Requirements:
Previous experience working for a tier one developer is essential.
Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
Valid CSCS card (Black CSCS advantageous).
SMSTS qualification.
