Role Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Continental Shift (Mechanical Shift Technician) Company: Biological Consulting Europe Ltd Location: Moorgate, London Salary & Benefits £53,350 per annum Season Ticket Loan (after 6 months service) Cycle to Work Scheme (after probation) Rewards Gateway platform Auto Enrolment Pension Private Medical Insurance including Dental, Optical & Audio Death in Service (x2 salary) Internal progression & training opportunities Shift Pattern – Continental Shift 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days 07:00‑19:00 / 19:00‑07:00 Key Responsibilities Planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical plant and building services Work on chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors General plumbing and pipework maintenance Water treatment and temperature checks Fault‑finding and resolution on a range of mechanical systems BMS monitoring and adjustments Support electrical and general building services tasks where required Escort specialist subcontractors when needed Maintain high standards of service delivery in a client‑facing environment Requirements Mechanical qualifications (C&G / NVQ or equivalent) Strong experience in commercial building services maintenance Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and plumbing Multi‑skilled with a proactive approach to fault finding and maintenance Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to start early for 07:00 shifts Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Specialty Trade Contractors Contact If you're interested, please get in touch with Dylan Briggs at CBW Staffing Solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
