A welcoming and well-established nursing home in Norwich is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in providing exceptional care and clinical leadership.

The Role:

As Nursing Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in line with CQC standards and best practice.

You will:

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams.
Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation.
Conduct audits and maintain regulatory compliance.
Lead by example, promoting a culture of kindness, professionalism, and accountability.
Take responsibility for the operational management of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care.

What We're Looking For:

NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid PIN.
Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or in a senior clinical leadership role within a care home.
Excellent understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures.
Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
